When is the bouncy castles available?

The castle is available seven days a week, all year round.

How do I book?

You can book by telephoning us on 01706 838661 or e-mail us at info@littleboroughcastles.co.uk

What notice do I need to give to book?

It's best to book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Do you deliver, set-up, dismantle and collect the castles?

We deliver the castle and provide a comprehensive setting up guide which is easy to follow.  You will need to deflate the castle and have it ready for collection at the agreed time.

What happens after I've made a booking?

We will send you confirmation of all your booking details.  The castle will then be delivered on the arranged date.   Upon delivery, all the necessary paperwork will be completed (hire agreement, liability and setting up instructions).

How safe is the bouncy castle?

The castle is of commercial quality, tested annually and conforms to strict industry guidelines. We are one of the few companies in the Rochdale area accredited to the P.I.P.A scheme and are members of the BIHA ( British Inflatable Hirers Association ).

The castle is hygienically cleaned, regularly serviced and complies with UK Health & Safety regulations. All electrics are PAT tested and the circuits protected with RCD's (power safety circuit breakers).

To stabilise the castle, either pegs or sand bags are provided.   Two safety mats are supplied to cater for any unexpected tumbles. A full briefing is also given to ensure you are completely at ease should any unlikely problems arise.

How long does it take to set up?

Setting up and dismantling takes about 15mins.

You will also have to read and sign a hire agreement indicating that you fully understand your responsibilities whilst the hire unit is in your care. E.g. Full supervision, no acrobatics, number of children recommended on the castle at any one-time, age limits etc.

How long do I get the castle for?

You can order the inflatable for a few hours or you can keep it all day, the price remains the same, at the daily rate. Evening hire can be arranged as long as there is adequate lighting (see pricing guide)..

Do I have to pay a deposit?

We require no deposit prior to delivery. Payment should be made on the day of delivery.

We do however charge a cleaning deposit of £15.00 to ensure that the castle is always kept clean. This deposit is refunded in full when the castle is found to be clean and in good order after collection. All payments in connection with the hire are to be made at the time of delivery.

How does the cleaning deposit work?

The cleaning deposit of £15.00  will be required on delivery and can be in the form of cash or a separate cheque that will be refunded in full when the castle is found to be clean and in good order after collection.

What preparation is needed before the castle is delivered?

Please ensure that paths and access to the site are free of obstacles. Please remove any overhanging branches, clothing lines etc. before delivery.  You will also need access to a suitable electricity power point.

What sort of surface do you need for the castle?

Castles situated outdoors need to be on a reasonably flat grassy area so that they can be pegged down. The area needs to be completely free of any sharp stones, objects, dog mess etc.

Please let us know if the ground is hard standing such as a patio area or concrete so we can provide sandbags to secure the unit where pegs cannot be used.

How is the inflatable secured to the ground?

Pegs are usually used to secure the castle - however if on a hard surface such as concrete then sandbags can be used. Please advise us if this is the case. If in doubt about the set up area then please contact us.

What about indoors?

Our bouncy castle is suitable for indoor hire (height pending). Sandbags are used to secure the castle in this case.

What happens if it rains on the day of a hire?

The bouncy castle is operated with a RCD circuit breaker fitted to the blower. The plug to the mains must be kept indoors.

The castle comes with a shower cover, but it is recommended that you stop use if the rain becomes heavy, as the castle can become slippery when wet. The castle can be dried with a towel.

How does the inflatable operate?

The castle inflates using an electric blower. The blower must be kept switched on at all times the castle is on hire. Failure to do this will result in the castle deflating.   The blower must be kept clear of any obstacles that may reduce the air flow through the unit.

How much does the castle cost for me to run?

An average electric unit costs between 50p and £1 for a days use.

How many children are allowed on the inflatable at a time?

xxxxx

A responsible adult should always supervise and common sense must prevail.

What happens if a problem arises during the hire period?

It is very rare that a problem arises that can not be dealt with by the hirer. But in the unlikely event please feel free to contact us at any time and we'll be round ASAP to sort it out.

Can you provide supervision for the duration of hire?

Unfortunately we cannot provide this service.

PLEASE NOTE:

Adults are not allowed on the children's castle. Nor are pets, silly string, drinks, food, party poppers or chewing gum. Any damage caused to any of the equipment whilst in your care shall be charged accordingly.
